These are the days when many film families encourage their parents and do something in the industry itself. While most of the sons and daughters of celebrities, including heroes, heroines, directors, composers and others are just actors, some are also venturing into other departments.
Manjula, the daughter of the former Krishna star, was to become a heroine a few decades ago, but she has become a director now. Calling the shots for the first time, she created Manasuku Nachindi with Sandeep Kishan, Amyra Dastur and Tridha Choudhary in the nets. The audio function of the film took place yesterday and Manjula looks rather cheerful because the film went well.
What surprised many is the absence of Superstar Mahesh and his father Krishna to the audio function. It happened as a simple event where the cast and crew will meet the press. Although both are in Hyderabad itself, one wonders why they did not attend the event.
Internal sources revealed that Manjula does not want to build a useless hype on the film by bringing in two superstars. She is the one who believes that the film should perform well in theaters on the merit of its content rather than on its promotions. We need to see how Manasuku Nachindi works from 16th February
